Itxas-Buru
History and foundation
The Itxas-buru cider maker was founded in 1982 by its owner ascensio Intxauspe. Although the family had always known the art of cider making, they started to produce it professionally from the 1980?s. With the native apple always taking a precedence they have tried to give priority to their own apples. They currently produce around 50,000 litres of cider per year.
