History and foundation
Following the centenarian cider producing tradition, the Goikoetxea family has reached modern times mainly devoted to natural cider production. Around 10,000 litres of their cider production come from apples from its own apple orchards and local suppliers and in years of shortage, from Galicia and Asturias and other parts of Europe. Current cider production amounts to around 110,000 litres, the majority of which is sold in the Basque Country.
