History and foundation
The Bereziartua cider maker, maintaining the family cider making tradition from 1870, moved their installations years ago from the Ergobia neighbourhood in Astigarraga to the Perurena road, to face up to the growth of the company and the demand for cider. Making the most of the move, the cider maker invested in the most up-to-date machinery. Although they have their own apple orchards, they do not supply them with enough apples for the growing cider production.
