History and foundation
The Altuna cider maker in Urnieta nowadays continues with a tradition rooted in cider making since 1904. Several generations of the altuna family have devoted themselves to this activity. Surrounded by their own apple orchards, it uses these to produce around 80,000 litres of cider a year.
