The natural cider market in Guipuzcoa is generally limited to local and provincial markets. Very few cider makers have opened their market quota on a state level.

Nowadays, the best way for acquiring cider is still from the cider makers themselves, and direct sales work best.

However, there are other sales methods which although less used are becoming more popular:

Distribution to small shops and hotel establishments: usually the cider maker himself sees to this type of distribution.
Distribution to gastronomic societies: in many cases, it is still the gastronomic society who chooses the "kupela" they want exclusively bottled for the society. In this case, it is also the cider maker who distributes the product.
Supermarkets: in many cases, it is the cider maker who distributes to these establishments. However, more and more supermarkets receive services from distributors.
