Olaizola
History and foundation
The recently established Olaizola cider maker is famous for its owners, the Olaizola de Goizueta brothers, who are better known in the pelota world than for their cider activity. Nevertheless, they have made a place for themselves in the sector. Located in the neighbourhood with the most tradition of cider making in Hernani, they have exploited the activity historically established by the Eizmendi cider maker, with a long tradition in the activity. The Olaizola cider maker currently produces around 90,000 litres of cider per year.
