History and foundation
The Oiarbide cider maker has been producing cider for more than 100 years. At that time, the grandfather, Francisco Zabalegi produced cider. Nowadays, and after big alterations, it is the same zabalegi family, with Sebastián at the head, who are following the tradition. The apple used for the cider production is on the whole, depending on the crop, its own. They produce around 100,000 litres of cider per year.
