Elutxeta
History and foundation
The Elutxeta cider maker was founded in 1982, and first to answer the demand for cider from the surrounding farmhouses, and in time, and after several big alterations and investments in modern technology, it opened to the public in general who can enjoy this cider maker all year round. The apples used for production are their own, as they have around 2000 apple trees, and from local farmhouses, although in years with small crops, apples are imported from Galicia, Asturias or France. It produces around 60,000 litres a year.
