Aņota
History and foundation
The Aņota cider maker, in the neighbourhood of Elosiaga in Azpeitia, is situated in a quiet and very beautiful setting. Founded in 1990, the txotx season lasts from january to september, thanks to the technology in the cider factory. 40% of the cider production comes from their own apples, and the rest is supplemented with apples from galicia and asturias. It currently produces nearly 200,000 litres of cider per year.
